As of July, 1998, the following 50 marinas are operational under the Clean Vessel Act (CVA) Program and are subject to specific Federal guidelines pertaining to cost, access and maintenance. The NJ Department of Environmental Protections Pumpout Station Directory lists all known marinas having a pumpout station in order to solve boat sewage problems (not all marinas have to comply with CVA guidelines). The list below has each marinas latest telephone number for boaters to inquire about location, cost, hours and public access. Please call the NJ Division of Fish, Game & Wildlife at 609-748-2056 to find out which marinas are under the CVA (both operational or pending), and marinas that are privately owned.
