Information : Nice day with SW winds 10 kts or so. About a dozen plus anglers aboard. Cap't fished four drops with a handfull of fish on each. I didn't see any cod today but the guys say they have been getting afew. One conger Eel and a couple dozen bergalls. I estimate 35 fish on the boat. I fished all day and had four Ling all big 2-3 lbs. Pool fish maybe 3.5 lb Ling. Nice to get out on the water. Wish it'd warm up a bit. Good mate and nice guys.

Information : opening day is finally here.after all them weeks of throwing fish back ;my boat breaks down at dock with world famous captain steve spinelli to the rescue.water in the gas tank(88gal)pumped out 5 gall and we were on the way.little bro already there.serious war between capt lou and little bro.little bro taaly with 51 flat dogs and the lou 15.rocbottom ended up with over 20.70 gallon of gas to burn.

Information : ran out to see if snow effected the bite.no,no,no the fish are already moving east .i found them to the east of where i have been.keyport 1 had a good body of fish that just got there from the ajacing creeks.ended up with 30 (15man)from keyport to keansburg heavy clam and mussel chum got them chewing.opening day saturday,dont have to throw them back anymore

Information : got out late,little bro out already with a little chew happening.i arrived at 930 tail end of incoming.managed 34 flatties in 6 hours.little bro had well over 60.snow has no effect on them now.last year the same thing happen,7 days of 45-50 and then a cold front that lasted to almost may.the flounder bite was good every time after the first good catch.so if history repeats itself there should be some good fishing from now on for those who fish early
