Fishing Method: drifting
Specie: Fluke
Size: 12to26" 1.5lbsto5lbs
Bait or Lure: squid@minnow
Water Depth: 10to15ft
Water Temp.: 64f.
Information : Started the day off slow brown water and dead low tide. we tried
mouth of the inlet but nothing really happening. i couldent get outside to the
clean water because of swells at 3to5. We just waited out the tide and it
finally started to come in we drifted from the south side and across the bar
thats in the middle of the inlet. Every time we got to the bar the fish were
there only one keeper out of 7 throw backs. after that we found the fish
laying on the northeast side of the inlet inside, behind island beach near the
bulkhead. there was also bluefish and short bass under the birds. but every
time we drifted there the fluke were constantly picking up the baits. if it
wasent for the wind i know we could of done better. I also pulled a five
pounder from that area . They were all keepers with the 5lber being the
biggest. Even with the wind we had a really good day. Tight Lines!!!

Water Depth: 125
Water Temp.: 70
Information : Captain Phil Dulanie had the Rory Donadio charter from Manhattan
out on the Canyon Runner for a day of inshore Tuna trolling. The
conditions and fishing was tough as rough seas made us change course
as to where we wanted to fish, originally headed for the Chicken
Canyon. Fishing down by the Resor we only raised one school to
the baits and boated 2 out of 4. The 2 Bluefins did not make the
27" minimum and were returned. The 4 fish all hit Reel Seat
Spreader Bars.

Boat Name: Queen Mary
Date Fished: June 28
Location: BA Bouy
Fishing Method: bunker
Specie: Bluefish
Size: 3-5 pounds
Bait or Lure:
Water Depth: 30feet
Water Temp.: unknown
Information : Ed and I decided to give my boat and the fluke a rest and
decided to let Captain JB do the work. Monday is usually a slow day on the
boat but toady it was packed with many people who should have spent their time
on the beach or the boardwalk. The wind was blowing hard from the south and
blew harder as the day progressed causing difficult fishing for experienced
fishermen. It was not the day to use my light tackle as the fish needed to be
worked to the corners. Not everybody walked their fish and 100s of yards of
monofilament were sacraficed to their stupididy. Most people who got on board
early enough to get a position on the stern were wise enough in the ways of
the party boats to have a good day. A large number of people reported
immediately to "sick bay" and spent the entire trip wishing they had never
heard the word "fishing." Congratulations and thanks to the mates John and
Brad for their constant help with tangles but especially to their care of the
children who "caught" their first fish with the aid of the mates. The trip
back to port was one for the memory books as the seas forced almost everyone
into the cabin with the sick and the sorry. It still beat work. Wednesday
will be back to my boat and the Sandy Hook area. Easy does it.

since we were on a full moon and the ocean currents could be working against
us. No surprise , 20 oz. sinkers barely held bottom and l6 oz. diamond jigs
were horizontal in the water. Capt. Paul read lots of life on the wrecks, but
only managed 5 Pollock. The largest a 25 lb. fish plus a few Ling.

Information : Friday saw the Royal SunAlliance charter out for a day of
bluefishing & sharking. On the way to the HA wreck, I ran across a large
school of fish, and with a short troll a young man named AJ caught his first
tuna! Thanks to Bobby Dowe for working the cockpit.
Saturday, I had a scheduled trolling trip to the Hudson. Al Kenter, Bob Wald
and Tony Hamidy were the passengers.
Originally I had my GPS set for the West Wall of the Hudson Canyon, but
noticed abundant life a few miles short of the Tip. Setting the lines down,
we were immersed into a Bluefish frenzy, with some of the alligators topping
20 lbs! Obviously the lunch table is still set for Giant Bluefin to eat . .
.I just wonder if they come by that way any more?
We heard a friend on the radio and warned them off the Bluefish schools
circling the area, (unless they were trolling wire leaders) and as they turned
away, we immediately went from Bluefish to Bluefin . . . all you wanted! We
caught our limit of schoolies, measuring 35-40 and weighing up to 50 lbs and
released a dozen more.
However, mixed in with the Bluefin were smallish Yellowfin, of which we boated
two weighing in @ 30 lbs, missing a beauty at the gaff that upon seeing the
boat, swam straight down taking 100 yards in about one minute. That fish was
60 lbs, so the trick was to work different baits (or lures) to get to the
bigger fish, but they were elusive to say the least.
It was a great day considering we only had a 65 mile run home! I have
Sunday/Monday open for the 4th, so give a call.

Washington Twp. and myself had caught about 50 fish with 15 keepers. Dave
Pressler will have his name appear in Giffords Marina website this week for
boating a 23 inch 4 pound flattie. Almost as remarkable as the action on
Sunday was the huge pod of dolphins that we cruised with. There had to be 100
of them. Needless to say, when they showed up the fishing stopped and we
headed closer to shore at noon but caught nothing but sandsharks the rest of
the day.

and no wind there was a very poor drift ( even when the tide turned the drift
remained poor ). In 4+ hours I did manage to sratch out 4 weakfish along the
green side of the channel from 16-22.5 inchs.I also missed two solid strikes
while boating another short fluke and breaking off a bluefish at boatside. All
4 weakfish were taken on a 3-way rig but instead of a 2/0 bait holder style
hook a yellow-chartruse floating jig head was employed

40 fish with majority of them being seabass. i caught the pool which was a
monster ling. just enough money to buy the crabs. interesting enough the boat
refused to give out more clams. WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!!? luckily my dad bought
a coupole packs of squid or we'll be cutting oursleves up for bait.

Water Depth: 75ft

Information : Went out with Capt. Fred on the Miss Chris for our first cape
may trip of the season after hearing of quality fluke being caught. We went to
the old grounds which usually produces big fluke. I hooked up as soon as I hit
bottomproducing an 18 inch keeper. Soon after my dad caughht a big skate to
his disgust. A couple minutes later he was rewarded with a 26inch doormat. It
weighed 6.31 lbs!!!!!!!!!! The fish must have sensed the front coming in and
instantly turned off. Oh well, what started out as a perfect day ended up as a
slight bummer. Can't blame Fred,he put us on the fish they just turned off.
At least dad got his prize.

Smaller type bluefish, no bigger ones were brought in.

Size: 25 - 35 lbs
Bait or Lure:
Water Depth: 240 feet
Water Temp.: 71 degrees
Information : Fished the Wilminton with my brother Captain Tim of the DJ's on
a friends new boat. We had our first hook up (a double header) within five
minutes of setting out the lines at 9:00 am about 7 miles of the tip where
there was a 7 degree break we found too tempting to pass over. Boated one
yellowfin out of the 2 with a pulled hook on one. Continued to troll towards
the tip pulling plastics. Had a nice 15 lb mahi and another yellowfin before
we hit the tip. We left the fish biting inshore in hopes of finding bigger
fish. When will we ever learn? We had great breaks and quality water color
all day as we worked the west wall and bite hard all day but had trouble
keeping the lures free of weed which was every where. We closed the day in
the late afternoon with a double on another yellofin and a white marlin
although the white spit the hook. Saw another white a few minutes later but
lures were covered in weeds again. Seemed fish were abundant with reports of
at least four blue marlins, many gaffer dolfins and lots of 25 lb to 35 lb
yellowfin caught either in the canyon or up to 10 miles inshore. I believe
all the blues and most of the dolfin were caught on bait (ballyhoos) which we
had none. Also heard of a guy who got covered up with 5 bigeyes but boated
only one. Can't wait to get back out again!

Information : Today sucked so bad that I'm embarassed to talk about it. I
didn't hear one boat brag of catching more than 3 keepers.I had 3 guys with me
and between us we cought 9 fluke 1 nice keeper 23 inches. Skates and searobins
made life miserable.we started at Spring Lake at the lump 3 miles off the
beach and the first fish was the 23incher it was also the last keeper. After
the skates moved in I headed north to Asbury Pk and tried the beach ,
nothing. We headed back in and arrived back at the Marina about 2pm. I took the
fluke out of the fishbox and it was still alive. I wook it to the cleaning
table th fillet it and when I took it out of the bucket. it flapped once and
went right into Kettle Creek. It hit the water and took off like a bat out of
hell.i hope that flattie makes it back to the ocean and lives a long time, it
deserves to.

went. Anchored up and chumming at the Farms produced constant action with
everyone hooked up simutaneously being the norm. Over 150 bluefish were
boated by just 4 anglers, with most released to fight another day. Arm-weary
by noon, we headed back inshore and boat 3 nice bass of 17, 18 and 21 pounds

Information : Started the day at 32 bouy with shorts and one keeper. tide was
outgoing but i should of been there earlier . the brown water came after we
were ther for half hour.So i moved further up the channel to 25buoy right by
the entrance to dbl. creek . the drop off there is perfect we pulled 6 fish
from here but the highlight of the day was watching my 3yr old pull in a
5.4lb fluke with high fives and woo! hoo! to describe the moment. after that
every one made a drift in the same spot. We did pull 3 more from there but
only one more was a keeper.I then went to try over on the backside of islsnd
beach.while powerdrifting there we pulled ten shorts and three more keepers
two of them were 3lbs. Stay near the edges guys and fish dropoffs where you
find them also dont be afraid to power drift when the tide slows down. it
works. We were pulling in fish when no one else was. You may have to work for
them but it paid off for us.The rig i used was a three way swivel and 5ft
leader with 6 " dropper on the sinker. Also soaking squid in shrimp oil
helped too. Oh by the way my son not only kicked my butt; he also beat grandpa
too. He had ten fish to our 6. I hope the tips help tight lines BOB

Location: 28 Mile Wreck and Elephant's Trunk
Fishing Method: Sharking
Specie: S-Fin Mako Shark
Size:
Bait or Lure:
Water Depth:
Water Temp.:
Information : As promised . . . details of Cape May/Maryland Shark Trip, which
was a resechedule from last weeks blowout.
Had the Ron Antonelli Fishing Team (Ron, Ron Jr., Mike Soriano, Anthony
Emerick, Jack Dos Santos and Mike McCarthy)out for a day and a half of Sharking.
We left Brielle 7:30 a.m. Saturday headed for the 28 Mi wreck. The morning
bite was weak, but we drifted the fingers west of the wreck, producing short
bites & bluefish, which proved to be the most popular bait.
At 4 p.m. we moved down to the Elephants Trunk off Indian River Inlet,
Maryland and worked through two buckets with the same results. (Obviously the
sharks we mixed up by the storms of last weekend or the bait moved)
8:30 PM Saturday night I decided to move the boat back to the 28 Mile Wreck
area for the overnite drift, driving two hours in pitch black cloudy skies. I
figured Id shoot for the closest really good structure versus water
temperature, so I shot for the fingers east of the wreck.
It was worth it.
From 11:00 p.m. to 5 a.m. it was non-stop action. When we didnt have Makos we
had Blue Sharks. When we didnt have either, we had monster-sized Bluefish,
which we livelined and or filleted and that kept us all busy for the entire night!
We kept one Mako in the 125-150 lb class (Mike McCarthy landed it) released a
couple of smaller Makos and released approximately 18 Blue Sharks, with the
largest ones in the 200 lb. class (9 footers).
Mate Danny Edmonds handled baits, wiring and releases like a pro. If you book
a charter with me, request him. Hes the best!

went figuring it would stop. I guess we were anchored about 6 minutes and the
first 2 weakies were in the boat. 1 Keeper, about 18" and a 13" throwback.
Anchored some Drifted some, got soaked, but ended the day with 12 weakies, 6
keeper fluke, including a 3.4 pounder caught by second mate Keith. Also saw
some fish I didnt want to see, 1 dogfish, and 3 oyster crackers, as well as

Water Depth: 240

Information : Captain Phil Dulanie and mate Brad Burgess had the Billy Wrede
charter from Prestige Plumbing in Randolph, NJ out for both days of the Mako
Mania tournment. The first day, fishing the Triple wrecks provided the
charter with a few bluesharks up to 150 pounds but no Makos. The second day
we headed to the Glory Hole and setting up on a drift that lasted 5 miles we
started off by releasing 7 Bluesharks. They disappeared and the first of 2
Thresher sharks was hooked. The first fish we fought for an hour, a fight
which included mate Adam LaRosa taking a shot in the shoulder by the
Thresher's tail on our first attempt to landing it. The next time the fish
came close Adam won, we put it in the boat and it measured 13.5 feet and was
just over 200 pounds. We then quickly fought and boated a 140 pound Mako
which jumped twice. Only a few minutes later came the second Thresher, which
we fought for 2 hours on stand up tackle. Once we got an estimate of its size
we released it. It was at least 16+ feet long and twice as heavy as the one
we had in the boat.

We hooked the first Mako after a slow start with no drift. The battle ended
when the shark ran under the boat and the line hit the chine. We then
released a 125 lb. Blue an hour or so later. Our next hookup was a first,
a Thresher which would not let us get near the leader for 45 min. kept us
busy up until I saw the Mako swimming in the slick. We tried for 20 min to
get him to eat but he wouldn't commit until I put a whole 4 lb. bluefish

WOW!! Started out going to the mud buoy, with my son Brian and my brother in
law Richie. We were fishing our usual light tackle
spinning rods with 12lb test. As soon as we got there (about 9:45) we spotted
birds working over breaking blues and from then on
until 2 PM when we left to go home it was non stop action jiggng blues in the
7 to 10 lb range. As the day progressed we kept
moving south into the 17 fathom area. Brian was deadly, getting fish
practically every cast, or at least it seemed that way using a
red AVA 27. Richie and I were using green and yellow jigs but eventually
switched to red. Since we throw all the fish back, our
estimated count was between 35 and 45 fish , with Brian leading the way with
around 20 by his estimate. All in all one of the top
20 days fishing on the Easy Go in the 30 years we have been chasing the
blues. The weather, the calm seas and the fishing
combined to make it a "WOW" day.

catch any tuna, and knowing we hadn't brought any other lures, it was time to
call it a day. Before we left, we played a little joke on Brent and set him
up with a hotdog as bait and told him that they worked really well. To our
amazement he ended up getting a pretty good size blue, they'll eat anything.

of the Knoll looking for school stripers with worms. The screen was packed
with them and we picked 6 or so on 2 drifts before the tide changed around
7:30 - 8:00. Wind against tide and lots of chunkers halted the action. Moved
out north on the knoll and picked 5 fluke with 2 keepers on worms and
spearing. Got tired of getting beat up so we moved to the calm waters of the

worms with 3 more keepers and a bluefish. All in all a decent day.

Information : Here's another report from the gang of the Lil Guy. Today was
special because we had some non regulars on the boat. Had a visit from my
father , George, and my younger brother Mike. Dad doesn't get out on the
water as much as he would like but at 71 he has his limits. Weather wasn't
going to cooperate with a strong east wind at 15 knots, but we had to give it
a try. Got out front to the same place I have been fishing.( got to love that
GPS! ) Didn't take long before I hooked a keeper weakfish and the fun began.
Dad had several hook ups early, but as some of you know a weakie can be
trickie, and after a few tries, Dad also put 1 in the boat. Had a school of
blues come through and cut all 3 of our lines, rerigged and kept on going.
Mike quickly became the high hook leader for today, hooking several fish. He
had the knack for the way they were hitting the chicken. Meanwhile I did
manage a keeper fluke or snapper blue here and there, and Dad was hooking fish
as well. When the tide went dead and started to change, we pulled the hook
and tried a drift. Wind was too much and we were too fast, but still managed
some throw back fluke. Went back to anchoring and had a slow pick the rest of
the day, finishing early cause our bones were tired of the beating the wind
giving us. We totaled out with 12 weakies, 10 blues, 7 keeper fluke, and
about 18 throwbacks. Note to all you fisherman, the weakies are getting
smaller by the week, I expect this won't last much more that 2 or 3 weeks
before we get to the summer time 12" fish. Hopefully I am wrong, but I caught
3 15" fish this trip , no more 24 to 26" fish to be seen. Maybe just cause of
the wind, at any rate, we have gotten plenty and all the neighbors are happy,
probably start catch and release next week, except for a few choice fish for
dinner. Note also that chicken is still working this year, although we did
catch some on shedders. Tight lines to all...

seemed to stop biting. Moved over to R/R bouy 16 and still nothing happened.
Headed closer to the Old Orchard Light. When the tide started to move in our
faver picked up 3 more for the box. Total count was 3 throw back fluke, about
12 small blues, a couple robins, seven keepers with the big one being 5 lbs.
Weather was not that great and the wind during the morning out going tide
worked against us but all in all it was a good day.

reel screaming in the distance. At first I thought it was the mosquito that
was buzzing around my head but no I see a guy with 5 weakies all over 25
inches. I managed to catch three and let them go the action was great until
some joker in a boat came barreling through where we were fishing then that
was it. I was glad to see the size of these fish and that netting has let
these fish come back to where they once came and that through proper
management we all can have and enjoy this species of fish. I think that in

not as good as it had been the last five days the charter was keeped busy
fighting dozens of Bluefish to 12 pounds and in between the Bluefish attacks
boated 15 Bass, keeping 4 up to 36" and 21 pounds. The action was all on
umbrella rigs trolled in 20-40 feet of water just north of the Highlands

Water Depth: Low Tide
Water Temp.: Cold - 60's
Information : My dad and I fished one of the jetties in Avon for Bass
last night and we had an awesome night. We caught in the
area of 50 Hickory Shad and a couple of 3-4 lb. Blues.
There were shad everywhere, and boy can they fight. Flying
out of the water, long 25-35 yard runs. it was some awesome
fishing, if nothing more than a tuneup for October. We
caught them mostly on Clousers, and poppers. We fished from
5:30 - 8:30 and the actions was just about non-stop. It's
a pity that the big bass haven't keyed in on these fish yet,
but I wouldn't wait too long for them to figure that out.

Anthony that we just marked some nice fish-and withing 2 minutes aline was

limit ) as she was mid way through her fight-I hooked into a nice fish which
turned out to be a fat 33 inch 15.25 pound striper. With a small fleet now in
the rips-it was decided to try for some early summer weakfish in the Chapel
Hill Channel-I made ofr an area of the channel that produced good amounts of

a short bass & fluke and Anthony did boat another keeper bass.Once the tide

Size: 26" to 33"
Bait or Lure: Umbrella rigs and Ava jigs
Water Depth: 40'
Water Temp.: 66
Information : The Canyon Runner with Captain Phil Dulanie at the helm got into
some the best fishing to date for the Joe Scott charter from South Orange.
Quite frankly it does not get any better than it was Sunday. On our way up to
the Shrewsbury Rocks we stop under birds working and proceeded to jig 60 to 70
Bluefish in 1 hour. We constantly had four fish on at a time with some fish
close to 10 pounds. Joe's daughter Brianna (8) got in on the action and
boated 5 herself as mate Adam LaRosa would hook 'em and she would boat 'em.
Once the charter needed a break we continued north looking for Striped Bass.
We found them. Fishing north of the Rocks off Sandy Hook we got into the best
Spring Striper fishing we have experienced in years. Trolling umbrella rigs
in 20 to 30 feet of water we had both rods going off every two minutes with
numerous double headers and a few triple headers. In total we boated 51
Stirped Bass with 8 keepers up to 31 inches. Brianna herself boated 10 bass
and Brianna's Mom Kit boated her first keeper Bass.

brought him aboard. A nice 37 and a half incher. After we put the gear back
out another nice fish jumped the starboard rod, Dave got on this one, but the
fish managed a head shake to freedom. Another short 27", came along about 10
minutes later. By 1030 it was all Bluefish.
Tried a couple hours chunking, no takers. Tried another couple hours trolling,
all the way up to the #9 buoy. Quiet up in there. Went back out to Romer,
scored another couple Bluefish strikes. Pulled the gear and headed for the

Got an

took us back to same spot as last trip, but weakfish just weren't there.
Did a slow troll through the fleet, and no one doing a thing...Went down
to the point and did a slow pick there. Guest mate Dotty hooked a nice
trout and I got 2. 3 small fluke also bit while we anchored. Decided to
head for 1 of my secret spots, along the way we stopped to investigate a
200 boat fleet south of Egg Island point. Best bet we could figure is
they were all chasing the fish breaking water all over. Bad point was
they were Bunker, not blues. Headed off shore(further out in the bay) to
my spot. Drifted the bottom and found the fluke. All four of us had fish
at the same time. Problem was they all came out of the same 13" mold
with a few 10" fish mixed. 2nd mate Steven had high hooks on throwbacks
with 11. After catching 20 or 25 fluke with only 4 giving their lives
for the cost of a good meal we decided to head for the Lighthouse to see
what was up out there. Found 1 boat catching weakies on the light, While
others stuggled to set an anchor without hitting each other. Fortunately
I just bought a new anchor that would probably hold the Queen Mary, so
we gave it a try and hooked first time. Got a nice pick of weakies
there, still taking the chicken, or shedder for some of the time. Wind
and waves picked up some and with the crowd of boats still getting
antsy, we decided to call it a day. Totals for the day, 15 weakies, 4
fluke and 2 blues. All the throwback action added in to make it an
enjoyable day. Tight lines til next time.

Information : Captain Phil Dulanie of the Canyon Runner from Clark's Landing
put the Roger Fordon charter from Middletown, NJ into a day of non-stop
action. We started the day on the Shrewsbury Rocks and boated the largest
Striper of the day on an Umbrella rig. The fish measured 38" and weigh 20
pounds. The action was a slow pick in the morning as we quickly pick up
another keeper Bass and a half dozen huge Bluefish. However, just north of
the Rocks we noticed birds working and proceeded to jig 50 to 60 bluefish in
an 1.5 hours. Once the charter was exhausted we went back to Striper fishing
the bite turned on. In the next 3 hours we boated 30 Stripers with 6 keepers
brought back to the dock. Most of the Bass were 27" however a few pushed
30". The action was over open bottom north of the Shrewsbury Rocks and the
fish bit umbrella rigs with black and green tubes.

Information : Day trip out of Point Plesant. Five miles NE of Manasquan
inlet. Drifted all day. Into fish within 15 minutes of
first stop. Fish were 100 yards from the boat so we had
to let the line out for a while, but once you got there
you consistantly got hit. I boated 6 fish all 6-10 lbs.
Boat was very crowded and I lost as many as I caught, but
action was pretty much non-stop all day. If the boat was
not so crowded and I didn't lose so many fish in tangles
with other anglers, I'd have had my limit with no problem.
Mate's on the boat were excellent but over their heads with
lot's of inexperienced fishermen. All in all I had a great

amount were over 2 lbs. A lot of nice fish on the boat. Bring clam for the
bass!!! Use the softest parts of the clam even though it's tricky to keep it
on. If you want see bass, go now, cause everyone is switching to flounder
soon. If you're in Cape May and want a headboat, then go with Paul. He's

Thought about Fluking around the Hook but stained water, hundreds of boats and
an ocean smooth as glass gave us the green light to the Farms. Trolled up one
on a medium bunker spoon, then dropped anchor and started chumming. Started
off slow, but picked up to a steady pick around 10:30am, often with double
hook-ups. They often would just mouth the bait or even just pick at it. I've
never had Bluefish do this before. Later in the afternoon, we switched to jigs
and plugs as it seemed they were getting boat shy, even though we could see
them in the slick 30-40 feet down. 30-40 fish boated with almost that many
more missed, taking 4 home for the table. Hopefully my arm pump goes away by

picking fish at once. Had five in the box within an hour but had to feed lots
of blues to get to them. After sun down the action became slow to poor for
stripers but the blues still wanted to eat all night We caught about 10 blues
for each keeper (one blue was about 15 lbs). At sun rise we began to keep more
stripers until 0700 when the flukers arrived and the traffic or sun seemed to
stop the bite. Five fishermen and we kept 9 stripers 14 to 20 lbs. only two
shorts that were close but under the mark. The last of the out going tide is

Information : Decided to give night fishing a try. Boarded the Miss

Never caught so many weakies. Started fishing @4;30, had my
limit by 7:00p.m. THe trip became a total fishing frenzy
when the capt. turned on the lights. The fish rised to the
surface and I began catching weakies on every cast. It was
so awesome. Everyone on board had thier limit.
My biggest fish was 5.7 pounds. The pool fish was a 10 toug.
The weather was great and the fish were cooperating.
This is one trip I will remember for a long time.

Water Depth: 20-50
Water Temp.: 60ish
Information : Left Manasquan inlet with hopes of getting into some decent
action North of the Inlet on the flatties.. Found the fish willing to
cooperate after a few drifts, and some adjustments between South Belmar and
Sea Girt.. Most of the action was in 23-30'.. Fast drift due to brisk breeze
made holding bottom another story, as it took at least 6 oz of lead to get a
grab.. Still, the action wasn't bad.. Countless shorts, just shy of the limit,
and some monstrous searobins made up the catch early on.. By 1030, birds were
working about a mile off the Hotel in Spring Lake, with some good sized blues
under them.. I was able to pick up four blues, between 5-9 lbs. before I had
to call it a day at 11:15 due to other commitments.. Totals for the day were
countless robins and short fluke, one lone keeper at 15.5", and four nice
blues that made for a great battle on light tackle..

20lbs 8oz. Followed by others of; 10, 12, & 16lbs. The 16 pounder was pulled
in on light tackle (10lb test) on a Crocodile. All others were picked up on
the umbrella rigs (purple only). Not a bad day for the first time out. I
