Information : Beautifull day. light crowd, flat seas, mid-40's and sunny. picked 8 slings. 6 mediums and 2 jumbos. my larger jumbo came close to beating the pool-winning cod. 'bounced all the way up. you should'a been there.

Information : The weather forecast was so great decided to try the Prowler, which sails from Atlantic Highlands. Due to the weather, there were about thirty patrons on-board. The boat is definitely a well-run operation. It is kept in top shape, the mates are helpful and polite and they leave the dock on-time (07:30 hours). The fishing was extremely slow. There were maybe 20 to 30 ling caught on the whole boat. I caught 2 small ling. The Captain really tried to find the fish. All-in-all a great day on the water...... Information : Fished near roosevelt inlet for two hours or so heavy chum.No hits but plenty of cold fishermen.Will try again soon.Surf city pier area probably.

Information : First drop - slow pick of ling - may have missed the piece - second after a 5 minte run - one side of the boat had all the ling - you could want (if ya' didn't mind reeling up over and over again - in that depth). The other side - dangerously rough bottom (lost many, many, many riggs) - but the piece had a lot of nice Tog on it - saw over 10 Gaffers - 8-10 LBS. + many smaller (bring your own crabs - as they are scarce.)
