The Village Harbour Fishing Club was formed in 1989 and was granted a charter as a non-profit organization by the State of New Jersey. Membership currently stands at 165 members. Meetings are held at 8:00 PM on the second Friday of the month from April to September. Meetings are held at the community Center on Mill Creek Road in the Beach Haven West section of Manahawkin, NJ. The club has been very instrumental in supporting and funding the New Jersey Artificial Reef program, and is listed as a sponser of several sites.
