Sportfishing in New Jersey
Canyon fishing targets lare pelagic gamefish such as Yellowfin, Longfin, and Bigeye Tuna. These fish can range from 30 to 300 lbs. and are pound for pound the hardest fighting fish in the ocean. Also encountered on these trips are Blue and White Marlin, Swordfish, and Mahi-Mahi. For maximum angler participation, we prefer to limit these trips to 4 passengers.
On the inshore grounds Bluefin Tuna, Sharks, Stripers, Bluefish, Blackfish, Seabass, Fluke and Weakfish, will all make an apperance. This fishing can take place less than a mile off the beach, and is always enjoyable. In recent years the Striped Bass and Weakfish have made huge showings near the beaches, and has resulted in some of the best fishing in years. Bluefishing still provides some of the most exciting action inshore, and Blackfish and Sea Bass are still providing some of the tastiest fillets around.
